Ne torniamo entusiaste per le meraviglie viste, per l'eccellente selezione delle opere in mostra ma abbiamo vissuto molte frustrazioni cercando di visitare le chiese barocche pure inserite nei percorsi raccomandati: molto spesso chiuse (anche quando erano dette aperte) e costantemente non illuminate sugli affreschi e sulle tele. E' stato impossibile ottenere dai guardiani l'accensione delle luci. In compenso, la gente dappertutto è stata gentile, molto disponibile a darci indicazioni e anche il bed & breakfast presso cui siamo state ospitate è di ottimo livello e di una raffinatezza squisita.Torniamo a casa incantate della bellezza della città e della gentilezza dei napoletani (dimentichiamo gli inconvenienti dell'oscurità dellechiese!).

Naples et ses alentours, pompei, capri sont indispensables pour une visite harmonieuse ou le calme contraste avec la tourmente citadine. la decouverte est permanente et pleine de surprises. se diriger dans tous les quartiers est tres facile. Aucune insecurite sauf a faire attention aux bolides dans les rues. A regretter des musees manquant souvent d informations aux touristes... salles fermees au public Concordia chez notre hote Anna est l endroit vraiment ideal pour une semaine. situe dans quartier typique napolitain, cet appartement a repondu totalement a nos attentes. Nous recommandons a tous ceux aui aime calme et discretion , bon sejour ici

ha scritto: Nach einer Woche im Concordia verlassen wir Napoli mit der Gewissheit, so bald als moeglich einen weiteren Besuch in Neapel und dann sicherlich wieder im Concordia folgen zu lassen. Absolut optimal ist die Lage im Stadtzentrum zum Besichtigen der unzaehlbaren Kulturschaetze, zum Einkaufsbummel in der Via Toledo oder der Via Chiaia und fuer einen angenehmen Abend in einem der vielen typischen Restaurants in der Naehe. Dem virulenten Treiben in der Stadt wird Bedrohliches nachgesagt. Wie in jeder anderen Stadt muss man auf seine Sachen aufpassen und hier ein wenig mehr auf die rasenden Motorroller, aber nie haben wir uns in der Stadt oder hier im Viertel aengstlich gefuehlt und sind auch nachts entspannt durchs Viertel geschlendert. Im Concordia waren wir bestens umsorgt und mit taeglich genauen Tipps fuer Ausflugsziele und die besten Verkehrsvehikel dorthin versorgt. Trotz reichlich Regen haben wir hier eine wunderbare Woche verbracht.

Fascino, cultura, istituzioni di livello intyernazionale (basti pensare al Madre) e per contro disorganizzazione e incuria.Voglio segnalare un'incuria particolare: la scarsa disponibilità del personale adetto alla sorveglianza nei musei, di solito riuniti a gruppetti a chiacchierare, e non dispersi per le sale a sorvegliare e a guidare. E all'Archeologico troppe sale chiuse perché'tutti vogliono godere le ferie nei giorni di festa'. Il B&B Concordia è semplicemente meraviglioso: qui si ricevono aiuti su ogni piano forniti con competenza e disponibilità. Ci si sente viziati! Grazie!!!!

ha scritto: Me gustaria comentar un poco la situaciàon del B&B "La Concordia", se trata de un sitio de una muy buena ubicaciàon , a 200 metros de la Galeria Umberto,cerca de la piazza Plebiscito, Palazio Reale, y con la estacion de la Funiculare Centrale. Se trata de un palacio tipico italiano, con un bonito ascensor tradicional, y las habitaciones , tanto como la individual, y la doble son muy acogedoras. El desayuno es excelente, puedes elegir cada dia lo que quieres comer. Ademas el trato que he recibido de la Signora ha estado excepcional. Recomiendo a cualquier persona este sitio, por sus instalaciones, ubicaciàon , y relacion calidad precio.

Un temps très doux, des napolitains courtois,courageux, serviables au point de nous faire partager leur pizza ou de nous guider jusqu'à notre lieu de recherche. C'est une ville stimulante et pas stressante et aux richesses inépuisables.Et pourtant nous avons déjà bien voyagé. ha scritto: Ich komme schon mehrere Jahre nach Neapel und habe mir dieses mal Ischia und Capri genau angeguckt: ich ziehe Capri vor, auch wenn dort Massen von Touristen aufkreuzen, man findet ueberall schoene Ecken, z.B. unterhalb von Anacapri: Faro. Auf Ischia ist St. Angelo sehenswert, sehr ruhig, ein wunderschoener Strand unbd vort allen Dingen:keine Motorrraeder. Sollte man eine Insel waehlen weitab vom Touristenrummel: dann ist Procida schoen.

J ai beaucoup aimé cette annèe notre promenade en bateau grace à Arte card et city sightseeing de Naples à BAIA et Pouzole et d autre part Salerne ,Positano et Amalfi. Toute la c^ote vue du bateau est un spectacle coloré et lumineux. Ce qui m a beaucoup déçu est la descente de la gare de HERCULANUM jusqu au site archéologique plein de tas dordures de plastique et la rue complètement en travaux. Magari,tornerò sempre a Napoli .Napoli ti voglio bene assai!

Anna is een vriendelijke en rustige vrouw die iedere dag voor een goed engels ontbijt zorgt. De kamer zowel de badkamer zijn brandschoon. Een echte aanrader dus voor mensen die graag op loopafstand van het bruisende centrum willen zitten. Wij komen volgend jaar weer terug.

Dort empfangen uns viele Bilder Fotografien, Buecher Stilmoebel bepflanzte Balkone - und Anna hoechstpersoenlich! Sie ist Fremdenfuehrerin, beste "Colazione" Zubereiterin, aufmerksame und interessierte Gastgeberin. Mit Rat,Anregung, Kulturtipps, immer zur rechten Zeit in genau dem Mass wie wir es brauchen. ha scritto: Séjour parfait à Naples : chez Anna, on se sent quasiment comme chez soi, dans un quartier au coeur de la ville (proche du port, pratique si vous devez prendre un bateau). Si vous vous perdez dans la ville, les Napolitains seront toujours prets à vous aider. Cependant, en aout, les musées peuvent fermer des salles, par manque de personnel, ce qui est dommage vu la richesse des oeuvres exposees. Ne manquez pas de visiter Pompei, Herculanum et Paestum, facilement accessibles en train, ainsi que la Cote Amalfitaine.

Il bed & breakfast La Concordia è una enclave asburgica piazzata nei quartieri spagnoli, la zona della città che custodisce i rotoli della Legge di Napoli. Le forme dell'accoglienza sono austere ma cordiali, un elemento che si apprezza in un ambiente che indulge all'effusione. Gli interni sono di gran confort, il servizio è impeccabile ma senza essere asettico e senza mortificare la convivialità che il viaggiatore può desiderare di incontrare in un bed&breakfast.

Tout le monde peut lire sur la façade extérieure "une maison ouverte aux amis".Mais à l'intérieur, Signora Anna donne tout son sens au mot "CONCORDIA": CUM-CORDE, WITH THE HEART, AVEC LE COEUR. Calme, très différente du Vésuve bouillonnant, discrète, attentive dans les moindres détails à l'accueil de ses hòtes, elle associe avec une grande culture littéraire, artistique et musicale, le souci de faire partager avec passion et connaissances son amour de Naples et de sa région. ha scritto: Nach Rom endet das Bekannte, das doch mehr oder weniger vertraute Bild einer europäischen Grossstadt. Eine diffuse Grenze, die Welten voneinander trennt - den Norden vom Süden Italiens. Der rumpelnde Nachtzug, vom reichen Mailand her kommend, erreicht die Peripherie Neapels in der sommerlichen Juli-Hitze kurz nach zehn Uhr morgens. Einfache Mietskasernen mit wäschebehangenen Balkonen verdichten sich zusehends. Die Fassaden und Strassen zeugen auf Anhieb von wenig bevorzugten materiellen Verhältnissen. Liegt sogar etwas Nordafrikanisches in der Luft? Der Ballungsraum breitet sich auf beiden Seiten des Zuges rasch aus und ist nicht mehr überblickbar. Wo die eigentliche Stadt beginnt, lässt sich kaum feststellen. Bei der Einfahrt in den Zentralbahnhof mit seinen baufälligen Perrondächern macht noch ein hier seltsam fremd wirkendes Stück Stadt grell auf sich aufmerksam: das Centro Direzionale, eine Reihe von verschiedenen Bürotürmen, die die Ästhetik ihrer Entstehungszeit in den achtziger Jahren nicht verheimlichen können. Eine sterile Insel aus Stahl und Spiegelglas, geplant von dem japanischen Architekten Kenzo Tange - ohne Bezug zu dem, was diese alte Stadt ansonsten auszeichnet. Auf dem riesigen, unübersichtlichen Bahnhofsplatz, der von Menschenströmen, Strassenhändlern, fahrenden und parkierten Autos gleichzeitig strapaziert wird, ist der frisch Ankommende dann endgültig in ein anderes, hier rund um den Bahnhof "Napoli Centrale" vor allem in ein ärmeres, wenn auch ungemein lebendiges Europa entlassen. Wer einen Reiseführer sucht, der sich allein dieser Stadt widmet, wird, je nach Interesse, vielleicht enttäuscht feststellen müssen, dass in der entsprechenden Reiseliteratur neben Neapel immer auch die gesamte Region mit der Amalfi-Küste, dem Vesuv, der antiken Stadt Pompeji sowie den drei Inseln Ischia, Capri und Proscida behandelt wird. Und dann wird der mehr an der eigentlichen Stadt und seinen Quartieren Interessierte ebenso zur Kenntnis nehmen müssen, dass sich die Autoren der Reiseführer vor allem darauf fokussiert haben, die dortigen Kulturdenkmäler und Kunstschätze sowie die historischen Hintergründe in aller Ausführlichkeit zu erläutern und mit Fotos zu dokumentieren. Dagegen wenig bis nichts über das, was diese Stadt im Zentrum über weite Strecken unmittelbar auszeichnet. Über Stadtviertel mit ihren weitgehend engen Gassen, ihren bröckelnden Gemäuern, ihren dunklen Hinterhöfen und schummrigen Ecken, die Bilder wachrufen aus einem weitgehend untergegangen Europa des 19. Jahrhunderts - noch festgehalten für die Nachwelt in der Frühphase der Fotografie. Alte Stadtviertel, die Spagnoli, Sanita, Forcella oder Pendino heissen. Wo auf Schritt und Tritt an Häuserfassaden angebrachte Glasvitrinen mit Marien- und Heiligenbildern stehen. Wo öffentliche Gassen genau so gut als private Wohngassen bezeichnet werden könnten, weil die Bewohner der einfachsten ebenerdigen "Bassi" oft bis in die Nacht hinein draussen auf ihren Veranden oder direkt auf der Strasse sitzen und jeden Vorbeigehenden mustern, besonders dann, wenn es sich um einen Fremden handelt. Und Fremde durchqueren diese Orte wohl - wenn überhaupt - nur selten. Kleinstädtische Kontrollmechanismen - Mitten in der Grossstadt, die bis in die letzten Winkel hinein auch von einem unbarmherzigen Verkehr - bestehend aus Autos und motorisierten Zweirädern - geplagt wird. Nicht zu übersehen an diesen Orten auch die Wäsche, die zwischen den nahe beieinander liegenden Häusern wie selbstverständlich zum Trocknen aufgehängt wird und für eine unbeabsichtigte Farbigkeit sorgt. Viele Eingangstüren der "Bassi" stehen offen und bieten so einen fast irritierend intimen Blick in die meist engen Wohnverhältnisse der hier Lebenden. Man sieht Küchen oder sogar Schlafzimmer, was die Leute jedoch nicht zu stören scheint. Fernsehgeräusche und Musik vermischen sich hier überall mit Gesprächsfetzen von Erwachsenen und dem Geschrei von Kindern. Beobachtet wird der Fremde in diesen Gegenden allerdings auch sonst überdeutlich. Männer, auf ihren Motorrädern wartend, mustern die fremd aussehenden Fussgänger ebenso deutlich wie vor einer Tür Sitzende oder an eine Häuserwand Lehnende. Sicher ist, dass er sich dadurch nicht so ganz frei bewegen kann, wie er vielleicht gern würde. Zügiges Gehen scheint adäquater als gemütliches Schlendern, lieber im Vorbeigehen flüchtig in eine dunkle Seitengasse blicken als bewusst davor stehen bleiben. Bedrohliches ereignet sich trotzdem wohl selten unmittelbar, keine einschüchternden Worte oder Gesten. Was sich jedoch hinter dem Impliziten abspielt - darüber lässt sich nur spekulieren. Gewalt ist allerdings kein seltenes Phänomen in dieser Stadt. Davon zeugen auch unzählige Zeitungsberichte. Der Fremde bekommt davon in der Regel aber nichts mit. Wer diese Stadt zu entdecken beginnt, wird zweifellos mit Unvergesslichem und Einmaligem konfrontiert - und deshalb gern wieder zurückkehren. Auch zu Anna an die Piazzetta Concordia!

Anna con total cortesia, se pone a disposiciòn del pasajero para orientarlo y aconsejarlo. Con sus indicaciones se pueden visitar los mejores y mas convenientes lugares. ha scritto: Ich fahre schon seit Jahren zu Anna und geniesse die Nähe zum Hafen (um auf die Inseln und nach Amalfi zu kommen), zur Via Toledo (um das tosende Abendleben zu erleben), das Wissen, dass das Arbeiterviertel Quartieri Spagnoli an die bürgerlichen und sehr schönen Viertel Chiaia/Vomero grenzt, der Flughafenbus fährt fast vor die Tür, die Fischrestaurants von Mergellina sind mit dem R3 schnell zu erreichen, das Teatro San Carlo vor der Tür, die Villa Cimbrone in Ravello sind geauso ein Muß wie die Wasserfälle bei Amalfi oder Wanderungen auf Capri. Es lohnt sich das Buch von Bruckmann für Wanderungen im Golf von Neapel zu kaufen, nirgendwo kann man so abwechslungsreif wandern wie zwischen dem Capo die Miseno und Amalfi....traumhaft. Neapel zeigt das wahre Leben: Armut und Reichtum, traumhafte Schönheit und Häßlichkeit....also ab nach Neapel.

Vi kom med taxi och efter många frågor och svar från hjälpsamma italienare hittade vi Concordia. Där blev vi varmt mottagna av Anna som såg till att vi skulle känna oss som hemma och vi fick också ta del av några ljusglimtar från hennes liv. Trötta somnade vi gott och när morgonen grydde bjöds vi på en underbar frukost. En frukost där vi fått önska våra favoriter och vi kan lova, det smakade verkligen bra! Som så många andra i denna gästbok, vill vi också tacka Anna för alla tips. Hon hjälpte oss med tidtabeller, vägbeskrivningar och allmänna tips om vad vi borde se under vår Amalfivandring. Anna, du är en pärla och vi har och kommer att rekommendera dig och ditt ställe till alla som ska till Italien. We, four migratory women, arrived in Naples in the evening May 2. There we had booked our first night at the B & B Concordia and then walk the Amalfi Coast from Salerno to Sorrento. We came by taxi, and after many questions and answers from helpful Italians, we found Concordia. There we were warmly received by Anna who saw to it that we would feel at home and we also had access to a few bright spots of her life. Tired, we went to sleep well and when dawn broke the morning we were on a wonderful breakfast. A breakfast where we had to wish our favorites and we can promise, it tasted really good! Like so many others in the guestbook, we would also like to thank Anna for all the tips. She helped us with schedules, directions, and general tips on what we should see during our Amalfivandring. Anna, you are a gem and we have and will recommend you and your place to anyone going to Italy.

Naples is noisy, dirty, confused and marvellous. A treasure-house of beauty and fascination. Go up the hill behind here to the Chartreuse, wander round & round the centro storico (Capella San Severo, S Chiara... ) go for a long walk along Via Toledo. If you go to Capodimonte, take a bus!! Disappointed by Vesuvio. Amalfi is touristy, but a good place to see the coast. Ravello is beautiful and Scala across the valley a more unspoilt version. Walk all the way up and all the way down - lemon groves thousands of steps, odours... Go to Adrani for breakfast every morning. In Ischia, the buses are great- you can go anywhere. Find La Mortella, the gardens of Walton and his wife and go to a concert.5 hours of peace and beauty. And even if you are not "beach", Maronti is good. Just a few of the best things. And back to Anna!!!

Ici, le quartier où se situe la Concordia est à l’image de l’Italie telle que nous la montrent les cinéastes avec le linge aux fenêtres, sur des étendages à même la rue. Tout ici contribue au dépaysement, la vie qui éclate en permanence avec les cris, tel des jeux de disputes, les scooters qui dès 18 heures vrombissent semblables à de gros bourdons et vous assaillent de tous côtés, transportant des familles entières. J’en ai compté 82 en 3 mn. Il n’est pas rare de voir le père, la mère, l’enfant… voir plus, sans casque, juchés sur ces engins de transport déglingués, en sens interdit, avec le conducteur au téléphone, qui klaxonne à tous les croisements. De vrais artistes ! Car dans ces rues étroites, en sens interdit s’ajoute les voitures, les chiens d’une placidité apaisante, les groupes de jeunes, de femmes, d’hommes et de rares touristes trop occupés dans les quartiers historiques. Tout cela bouge dans une union, une synchronisation d’un ordre surnaturel , sans accident et avec beaucoup de respect. Les Napolitains sont affables, curieux vis-à-vis de ces étrangers qu’ils reconnaissent au premier coup d’œil et indifférents, plongés dans leur quotidiens. Pour le reste vous savez déjà : des merveilles, Pompei, Herculanum, Amalfi, Capri, des sites tous plus beaux et intéressants les uns que les autres. N’oublions pas, le chef d’orchestre de ce séjour à ne pas manquer, Anna ! avec ses conseils, sa discrétion, son attention et … ses petits déjeuners copieux et délicieux, avec des gâteaux maison, histoire de garder un lien avec ses pénates. Je recommanderai ce séjour à tous nos amis, quel beau voyage !

She worked with us around our scheduling difficulties to get everything booked, and was always very quick to follow up via email. Upon arrival, Anna immediately makes you feel at home and welcome. She provided us with a short tour of the area on the first day, showing us where various modes of transport are located. She also gave us maps, information, ideas for excursions, directions and recommendations on a daily basis - she was very committed to making sure we had a good time and saw things which would interest us the most, and instrumental in helping us get around Naples and surrounding areas effectively. We did have a great time visiting the city and its surrounds, in large part thanks to Anna's guidance. She takes a genuine interest in her guests, is a lively conversationalist, and herself well-traveled. We will definitely be recommending B&B La Concordia to others.

Prenez le temps de monter jusqu'à la Certosa di San Martino - quel lieu superbe! Et en plus la ville est constamment pleine d'expos sympas. La Concordia est en plein centre historique et est super bien située pour découvrir la ville à pied. Anna a merveilleusement contribué à notre découverte de Naples en nous suggérant des p'tits itinéraires sympas! Les chambres sont super confos, parfaites pour se reposer après nos looongues journées napolitaines :-)

As our cab wove through tangled traffic, we were surrounded with crowded sidewalks overflowing with pedestrians and hawkers. We were whisked through a close maze of narrowly twisting up-hill streets, flanked by flowered balconies strung with laundry, shrines to saints tucked into the sides of apartment buildings. The fast pace of the city was energizing and exciting, though walking through the narrow stone streets required a certain awareness- without warning, compact cars or sputtering mopeds streaked past. But what an energy could be felt! Naples is a city for all five senses: the visual juxtaposition of new and old, the smell of street vendors selling roasted chestnuts and candy floss, the taste of authentic wood-oven-baked pizza, the distant sound of a church choir, and of the feeling of stepping into a picture postcard. The fantastic architecture and hilly landscape provided unforgettable panoramic views, filled with glimpses of open-air markets, family businesses, glorious churches and museums, vividly colored apartments and homes set into the steep and rocky hills, shipssailing in the harbors...enough to fuel the imagination for weeks.
BB La Concordia provided the perfect counterpoint to the raucous city. What a pleasure it was to stay in a spacious apartment only moments away from fine shopping and dining, museims and theaters! While conversing and considering a plan for the day ahead, Anna provided insightful recommendations and up-to-date tips as only a native Neapolitan could. She sent us out the door with friendly insider information, prepared to thoroughly enjoy our day of sightseeing: The next morning, we left the city feeling exhilarated by its gritty, gorgeous atmosphere, already looking forward to our return and our next stay at La Concordia.
